Recognize the pictured Dune passage
Dune is the other map choice visible alongside Oasis in the checked v0.21 play menu. Our captured CT-side Bomb Defuse view shows a roofed passage with timber beams, staggered pale crate stacks, a blue cloth-covered stack and an opening toward a brighter, rising exterior path. These features make a practical recognition checkpoint when you encounter this passage in the game. We do not assign it an official name or claim it connects to a particular site without a complete verified route.
The crates break the view into several narrow openings. The screenshot shows visual cover, but it does not establish whether a crate stops shots. Treat each hidden side as an angle to inspect before moving through the middle.
Break one long sightline into small checks
Begin a sightline drill at the roofed end shown in the image. First check the near side of the left-hand crates, then the gap toward the brighter exit, then the near side of the right-hand stack. Move a little between checks so each blocked area becomes visible; holding your crosshair on the distant opening alone leaves the adjacent crate edges uninspected. If you need to back away, note which edge hides your view again.
Reverse the drill from the exit toward the roofed passage. The order of visible edges changes when you return, which is why a safe-looking outbound view is not a substitute for a return check. This is a general clearing exercise anchored to the pictured geometry, not a claim about common enemy positions or a guaranteed safe peek.
- Identify the roof, the blue cloth and both pale crate stacks before advancing.
- Check the near crate edges separately from the far exit.
- Step only far enough to reveal the next hidden space, then reassess your view.
- Return through the passage and repeat the checks in the opposite order.
Use the passage as a checkpoint if you encounter it
Choose a bombsite on the live minimap and walk toward it. If your own path crosses the pictured passage, note what you passed immediately before the roof and what appears after the bright exit. Turn back and check whether you can recognize the passage from the opposite direction. This helps you remember a route you personally walked; the saved image does not place the passage on a complete map.
If your path does not cross this passage, do not add a detour to match the image. Use the same near-edge, far-opening exercise at a location you actually pass. The photographed passage is a verified visual landmark, not a site-to-site route diagram.
Apply the timing rules on a route you verify
In Bomb Defuse, a planted bomb has a 40-second timer; a defuse requires 10 seconds without a kit or 5 with one. If the crate passage lies on a return path you verified in the game, time that return yourself and note how much of the countdown remains after you pass it. The image alone cannot tell you a rotation time or which site it serves.
Try the same passage check with a single change, such as pausing at one crate edge instead of walking into the centre. Note whether you gained a view of a previously hidden area. The screenshot does not verify a bombsite location, a best defensive position or a utility lineup.
Frequently asked questions
Which bombsite does the pictured Dune passage lead to?
The saved gameplay image alone does not establish the passage's full connection to a bombsite. Follow the live minimap and site markers as you walk your route.
Do the Dune crates provide bullet protection?
Their position blocks parts of the view in the captured scene. We have not tested bullet penetration, so do not rely on them as confirmed protection.
