Keep the balances separate

The main menu and daily challenges display C. The Bomb Defuse instructions describe a separate dollar balance for buying weapons and gear during a match. Treating those as the same currency creates confusion about rewards and purchases.

Choose the relevant guide

Use the coins guide if you want to understand C rewards or why a challenge reward differs from your round balance. Use the skins-and-cases guide if you want to inspect item information and understand what the official news actually confirms.

The menu includes Cases, Inventory, Trading and Marketplace. We describe those observed entries without assuming that every transaction, transfer or account feature is fully available in the checked build.

Buy equipment within the round rules

The official Bomb Defuse help says you can buy during the first 44 seconds while in your team’s spawn area. Kills, wins, plants and defuses earn money, and a lost round still pays something. Exact payouts for those events were not stated in the inspected instructions.

A defuse kit is explicitly listed at $400. Our practical suggestion is to consider the objective as well as a weapon when using the buy menu. The plant-and-defuse guide explains why a kit’s five-second time saving can matter.
